Hi,

Wondering how compatible is the valet 554r with a honda CRV2006, and how difficult it would be to install.

Or should i look for a different alarm

it will work, how hard to install, i cant answetr that im not sure how well you can install a alarm and/or remote start.

Any alarm will work with any car, it's your skill level that matters. I would recommend you buy the alarm and have a shop install it for you.
