Has anyone successfully used a magnet kit for use with an Eclipse navi when you can't find the VSS?
The Eclipse navi needs a pulsing ground, so what brand can do that?
Or, is it possible to use a 12V pulsing type and use like a hex inverter or something to change it to ground?

I was able to get one to work on an 06 Chrysler 300M, but tried to do one on an 06 Ford 500, and couldn't get it to work.  I used a Rostra magnet kit.  I was told that they have a better one, but is much more expensive.  What kind of car are you installing it on?  Many of the CAN-BUS vehicles have adaptors available for the VSS.

We started installing the AVN50D in cars that have VSS issues instead of the AVN30D. The 50D will work without a VSS. It shows a check pulse error a few times to start with but it will go away and track normaly with all functions working...
