box direction, spl?

makes alot of sense, but i havnt noticed my bass louder with my trunk open. imma have to go play with it now

well first off i measurd mine a lot of different times and it did gain for some reason. I have a 12 volt battery but at the amps it putting out 16 volt due to my alternator, but its factory weird huh. Last night i took it out of my trunk and stuck them in my backseat angling them up, but i was not impressed. plus i noticed the boxes top screws had vibrated a opening on the front all the way across. Thats one thing that has happened alot is screws popping out

To keep the screws in, I suggest putting a little Gorilla Glue in the hole the screw will be in. It has helped me and people I know in the past.That's my opinion. Take it, leave it, or correct me.

Yea definitely put some glue of some type in the screw holes. I shook the top off of a bandpass box once because the screws worked out of the plexi-glass *laughing* If it is a custom made box, you may also want to consider running a bead of glue along the seams as well to help keep the wood together, then screwing it together.Squirrel

i went and had my system reversed turning towards the back of the trunk and the amp plus the battery. the battery measured out alittle over 14. He said they had a bad battery in the meter which threw it off. To my disappointment, oh well. I only hit a 142.0 then my meca cd started skipping cause the cd plyer is sensitive. but I noticed a huge increase overall. 142 for this weather may pit me at a 145 in the summer or better no real way to tell though. the best i have hit so far was 143.4. but the pressure difference was better now then then.
