My buddy has a 2002 F250 5.4 Liter V8 that the cruise no longer works. He will hit the cruise button the dash light turns on then goes right back off as soon as he releases the button. Does any one have any clue as to why this is happening

i think some of those trucks had a recall regarding the cruise control.
