I just finished taking out a r/s out of a 05 dodge ram, everything was fine, i must of shorted a wire, because the ignition blew, so i replaced the fuse, put everything back together, now the check engine light, emergency brake light, and abs lights are all on in the dash, checked all the fuses, all where fine, i disconnected th battery for 5 minutes, reconnected, still the lights are on, any ideas? it was fine before i took out the r/s.

I checked every fuse under the hood, that's supposed to be the only fuse box in the vehicle, every fuse was fine.

make sure a wire isnt d/c or loose. Also make sure nothing is grounding out.

in my experiance having the batt unhooked for 5 min does nothing. you should try having it unhooked for about 30 min.

Further to the above notes, when you have some doubt about it, go through every fuse thoroughly making sure you didn't miss anything. If you feel you may have shorted out something there is a good chance you may have taken out more than just one fuse.
Be careful whose advice you buy, but be patient with those who supply it.2005 ram check engine - Last Post -- posted image.
