will the factory alarm trip if you remote start w/o hooking up the diasrm wire in the drivers door? im trying to avoid having to run wires into the drivers door, i dont have the car yet so im just posting to see if anyone knows for sure either way!

You may be able to program unlock before and lock after start or hook up a key sense wire one of those usually work

I'm not familiar with the Continental, but Most Ford products need a disarm wire connected. What RS are you installing? Here's what Directed has...

Factory Alarm Disarm dk. GREEN/ purple   -  drivers door module
Notes: The drivers door module is located in the drivers door and is attached to the door switches.

From what I can remember it will not. It should disarm with just the pats bypass.
