Hello guys I have purchased the ribbon that replaces the one in the AVIC N2 and have my head unit apart. I have managed to take the ribbon off of one side (motherboard side) and now I am trying to get the ribbon unattached from the screen side. Any help? How do I get back there? The screen is on tracks... Any help would be appreciated. THANKS

It would have been much easier if you had opened the screen half way   (level)  before you started.   But don't sweat it.  just grab it on the corners and pull it out.   once you get it out there are 3 screws on the backside of the screen at the top     and 2 screws on each side.   you may have to try several jewlers screwdrivers before you find one to fit properly.

ok well I did that and was able to replace the ribbon. One problem, after putting everything back together I push the open/close button the sound goes off (that annoying beep/ding) but the screen doesnt come out... Any suggestions? THANKS
