I was wondering if anyone had any experience installing the PRESTIGE APS901 Remote Start System.  I was looking to do an upgrade from my boa system because of issues with range.  And this system seems to have a glass mounted antenna as opposed to the one one the brain which my boa system has.  I was wondering what peoples experience with this prestige system is, as far as range and overall quality in comparison to my boa.  I'm in no way badmouthing my boa system it works great for what i payed i just need a little more range.

thanks to all who reply

My dad's honda has a that system and it works very good. The range is very good. Although, i prefer DEI over anything else.

The APS-901 is the new one-button, right? They just came out a couple of weeks ago, so I always forget the model number, but I just installed two of them today.
I've been installing Audiovox stuff for five years, and I'm very happy with it.
You'll get plenty of range, and a straightforward install.
I find their new programming sequence to be a little confusing at first, but if you go slowly and follow the instructions, they are accurate.

I have been installing Prestige/Audiovox remote starters and alarms for several years now. The Prestige models are straight forward. The trick with the glass-mounted antanas are to get the glass CLEAN and to make sure you don't mount it on the sunscreen at the top of the window.

We've been installing the Pursuit AS9055t(I believe it's the same RS) for a few years now. We had some remote issues last year, but beyond that no problems. I have one on my wifes Sebring...

I've been installing the Audiovox/Prestige brand for 15 years at least & I agree with these guys that it's great. Everything is compact & the range is terrific & everything works. Except for some tach learning issues last year, I've had no problems.
