2006 Chevy Trailblazer, Remote Start

hymer and guys, must have been a fluke vehicle, i work for a chevy/gmc franchise and have never hooked up the brown wire on a trailblazer or envoy/ranier, i did 10 stock vehicles this week and have never had an issue and i never use the 2nd accessory ( brown)wire dei lists that wire ( as well as many others not needed) as most of their info is taken out of repair manuals explaining function, not every vehicle in their datbase has been verified by an install, hence the explanation as to why some of their info is way off also, the 457g works awesome on these vehicles,but they have phased it out and replaced it with the 1700 which does additional vehicles

Ok, for a followup, I just did an 03 Trailblazer today and DID NOT need to hook up the brown wire. I guess, now that I remember, I have only had one that needed it and I have no idea why.....it just did. I have also done a ton of em and I guess now that I remember back, it was just that one I worked on. I have also never had to hook up any brown wire on a GM, unless there isn't a 2nd Ignition, then I just hook up the 2nd Accessory to be safe. Shaun, we are the same height, that is neat!
