I am installing a parrot 3100 in an 05 suburban with a factory bose system. I have used the cell-site harness in the past and didn't get the sound quality that I did in vehicles that I spliced directly into the speaker wires. Is it a big deal to spice in after the amp? If not, are the wire colors the same as they are at the back of the stereo?

the wires on the back of the stereo are the inputs to the bose. grap the spkrs after the amps and hook up the to front doors, and the rear doors(optional i hook up 2 spkrs on cars sometimes). then use the mute wire and a relay to cut the main 12volt to the bose amp to mute everything else.

Did you use the LOC-1 when installing the GMCSS-1? This converter tones down the pink noise and the poping sound that usually arises when using this harness.
