Hey. Just found this site and love it! Tons of great info. But I'm wondering where I can find an electric DA sander. All I can find is air-powered and my compressor is way too small for that.

What Kind of link is that? didn't work for me but I think you were trying to reference http://www.porter-cable.com/index.asp?e=547&p=2777, that's what I used and it flew through my bondo sanding and it's variable speed and the rubber surface contours to lots of surfaces and worked great, way way way better then sanding by hand, then I just did touch up work by hand but for large projects this thing worked great. Also if you spend the cash for one of these it has another head you can switch out and use to polish your car, so it's a duel purpose buffer/sander that works great for both. Hope that helps
