I installed a Clifford Matrix 10.5x in my car, and want to change out the flashing LED it came with. It came with a blue LED with 2 wires - Blue & Red. The one I have to install is a red Clifford LED also with 2 wires - light blue & black. I would have just tried it both ways, but I don't want to mess the bulb up.
Should I connect it like this:
Light Blue to Blue
Black to Red
Or this:
Light Blue to red
Black to Blue
Or does it need to be wired completely different? Thanks

easy way to test it, get one of those cold heat solderin irons. one side of the contact is positive, one side it negative, I think it is 9 or 12 volt, just touch the contacts and whichever way it lights up, there is your wiring config. The easy way to figure it out on standard LED's is this. Looking inside the led itself, there are 2 metal parts the large is the cathode, the smaller the anode. The anode is positive, and the cathode is negative. Look at this pic, in bare led's the anode is alway longer and that is where you hook up your positive.
