What's the best location in the firewall to run a power cable through it? It's a 03 Civic EX, 5spd, 2dr. Any recommendations without drilling anything?

Look above the gas pedal. I think there's an empty rubber plug there.

I always try to find the stock wires from the fusebox under the hood and follow the same path as those wires.

i second jeff's suggestion, if you look at the brake booster to the left (under the hood) then go down about 3 inches from the center line of the bb there should be a round plastic plug about an inch in diameter. pop that baby off and feed your cable through it

Thanks. I will try to look for that plug tonight and see if I can find it.

I think I found it, but this hole is already taken and it is completely sealed on the outside, under the hood. Is this the one?

And this one is on the passenger side right near the floor. It is well accessible from inside, but seems very tight. I need to run a 4ga cable.

From inside (under the hood) it all looks like what you described, but this is what I have in my car, I don't know what this blue cable is.
But anyways, I already got inside the hood. I used tho hole in the second pic and it took me just a little over an hour to do it. It was fairly easy as it's very accessible. I undid the tape from inside, then jacked up the car, got underneath and undid the tape from outside, also had to cut up the grommet a bit on the outside. Then just pushed my cable in from the cabin and taped everything back. This location is also good, because you can route it directly to under that black rubber and then to the rear of the car via the usual route.
