Does it say on the remote which trigger is open ie setting it off. Maybe its possible that the domelight is triggering it?. If you have the door trigger hooked to the gmdl-bp try just hooking it into the alarm brain (only) input and see if that works. Just an idea I haven't really expereinced this trouble on trailblazer.

I used the input from the module. Should I try to take the input directly to the r/s unit from the rig, instead of from the bypass module? (I'll also verify from the remote what is triggering, thanks for the idea xtremej)

I am going to look at it again this afternoon. I'll keep it for a couple of hours, monitor the remote, and trydisconnecting the dome input to the module. we will see. I'll keep you posted.

I kinda figured it was made by trilogix, but yes, I would use the actual door pins on the truck itself. Its a pain because of having to get them in the driver and pass door, and the rears are in the door boots, but at least your not fighting with the bypass [something you can't neccisarrally verify is working.] I have had issues with crew cab chevs where the rear doors can be opened and the alarm wont trigger, or it will trigger a few minuts later. Doing it the real way, will ensure a (-) is sent as soon as that door is opened and the alarm sounds...
