1997 audi a4 1.8t quattro

Looking at buying this car. It's already had some aftermarket work done (mainly stereo system), and it has factory power locks and windows. However, it only comes with a car alarm, but no keyless entry? Apparently that was factory from Audi. I've never worked on european cars before. How hard would it be for a first timer like myself to put in a keyless system? I've already done a couple installs on friends rigs, but they were all later model ford/chevy/dodge. So nothing complicated. Any kind of special wiring I need to be aware of? Thanks for all your help! --mindctrl

Looks pretty easy as far as the eltronics go (-) pulses for lock and unlock They can just be kind of a PITA to disassemble sometimes.. If you can do domestics, this shouldn't be a problem..Tire Proz Stillwater Mn
