All those wires are easy to find. The diagnostics connector for the tach and the LOCK & UNLOCK are easily accessible at the kick panel in a WHITE plug.Jeff

i had trouble finding the locks when e di did the car also for some reason.  Then I was smart and looked at the wires coming in from the door.  I think the plug is one of the top plugs in the kick panel.

Thanks again, I'll give it another try tomorrow. If I have a hard time, maybe I will take a snap shot of all those white plugs so someone can point  which is the correct one.

legenux, Open the driver's door wide. Jam your left knee against it so if the wind catches it, you don't crush your hand. Remove the driver's kick panel. Put your hand into the car's doorjamb, grab the rubber boot that carries the wires from the door into the car's body, and wiggle. You'll then see which wires are coming in from the door.......they split and go to two different plugs. The plugs you want are in the upper plug. It'll be the plug that doesn't have a whole lot of slack, and if you apply the parking brake hard, it'll give you more room. AFTER you TEST the wires, you can unplug the plug and tug on the wires a little; that'll give you enough slack to work. As stated on that tech sheet, be sure you get the wires that test while turning the key in the door.........NOT the ones off the rocker switch on the door panel. The key-cylinder wires will control not only the doorlocks, but also the factory alarm, and the domelight will even turn on when you unlock, just like factory.

Chris is right, there are two white plugs at the top of the kick panel. The two plugs are connected together and if you grab them and yank they will pop right off together and you will have a ton of slack. Pull them out some and look at the smaller plug. There will be a thin gray and brown on the side of the plug that was closest to the firewall before you pulled it out.Mike M2
