Does any body know what could be the problem with my 03 Toyota Sequoia, when ever I lock the door with remote control or put transmission in Drive door locks but, trunk pops open.
Thank you in advance.

What do you mean by the trunk?
The Sequoia has a rear hatch, but it is only capable of locking or unlocking....it doesn't have a way to electrically pop open like the trunklid on a sedan.

When I click lock on the door or by remote control rear lid unlocks, same if I put transmission in Drive all doors get locked but rear lid clicks unlock.

does the rear hatch door pops open as if your opening it by hand or does it unlock?if it unlocks the actuator is defective, needs a new one.

The rear hatch has it's own DCM right in the hatch on Sequioa's. Are you sure it's unlocking and just wasn't unlocked to begin with? Is it actually going from locked to unlock?
