i just had a delphi xm2 unit installed on my 05 pathfinder and now i find that my am radio transmition is almost non existent. I have the xm turned off, i have removed it from the deck, i have unplugged the deck - all thinking maybe it was drawing power. i called the installers and they said they haven't heard of this problem before. so, any ideas before i take it back?

Did you unhook the xm unit and try the radio?Make sure the antenna connection is good on back of radio. You could insert a small piece of wire into the antenna jack on radio and see if AM comes back.If not maybe the AM section just puked out.Russ
