are you tryign to figure out how to wire an alarm into it so you can have keyless entry. for this car you will have to add a actuator to the driver door "only"

central door locks is when you push down the drivers lock and all the doors lock. if you are having trouble with it. that mean you would have to test it at the switch. Be more specific when asking a question.

Hi thankyou for replies this is a list of all my electic problums can anyone advise me on how to start sorting it out:

1) centrol locking does not work at all from any door

2) windows will not open or close  ( i had to put a power supply to the motors to get them up)

3) alarm horn not turning off (had to disconnect it)

4) there is a relay clicking in the centrol locking control box for about 1 min when ing is turned on or door opened

5) have fitted a secondhand fuse/relay box (no change to faults)

Where and what do i do next

sounds to me your relay is going bad, replace the relay for your central locking. that should solve your issue. The alram deal, i need to know if your talking about a factory horn or a aftermarket siren. Once again you dont provide us with enough 411. Be specific please.

Hi Mate, I have had loads of escorts with a whole range of different faults and it usually results in the fuse board being faulty, get one from a scrap yard though as new they are about £200 if I remember rightly.

Hope this helps mate, they are easy to change, 30mins should be more than enough time.
