Putting in a aftermarket pioneer navigations system. I am installing the SWI-PS into a 2007 4-runner,  In the instructions it asks to ground pin 6 on the connector. but it doesn't have a pin 6 on the pin indicated on the instructions. We  hooked up the other wires properly, but the module isn't programing the steering wheel controls, it goes on and flashes properly but when we press the button down to program , the module doesn't light up and it doesn't save.

Is there something else i didn't try? is there another pin we can ground? currently there is no ground.

Need help ASAP.. thank you

Diana

Which side of the harness are you looking for the pin #6? You may be looking at it backwards. And no, I'm not trying to insult your intelligence - just wanted to make sure you're covering all the bases first.
