A friend of mine is working on a PT Cruiser for SQL competition with MECA and is running into different problems with noise in his system.  I don't know the details just yet, but I would appreciate any initial thoughts, advice, or insight that any might have on the vehicle.

...typically, I just run whatever I randomly pick up off the floor.

Well we need details to help, in your title you say road noise? Are you talking about the car being noisy when driving, or are you talking about noise in the audio system. If so you might start by reading the ground Q/A sticky posted at the top.

I was just looking for any specifics to the PT Cruiser as far as audible engine noise reproduction through the various system components.

Engine noise and road noise are two entirely different things...

Alright, well I apologize for confusing the two.  If there is anything in paticular I should expect then I would appreciate the heads up.  Otherwise, I'll find out what exactly they are running into.
