As far as I see it all you can do is cut the wire and ground your black lead and connect your red to the suspected wire.  Change meter to ohms and trigger the lock/unlock.  Should give you the resistor read..

i need to determine the ignition wire and the accessory wire from the ignition switch harness of my car with my ddm. how do i determine the ignition wire from the accessory wire.

Ignition stays 12volts during crank and acc drops out during crank.
