my alarm isng working and im wondering which wires i should be chasing.  I didnt install it so its look like a huge messs of wires to me.  So i got the wiring diagram  im assuming i just need to worry about the actual power wires right?  li shouldnt have to worry about the locks and the LEDS etc?  any tips would be very helpfull.

Basicly it doesnt do anything. I cant get it to arm.. or do anything for that matter.  the LEDs are disconnected though.  basicly i bought this truck with the alarm. and it was working and when i bought it the guy took his stereo out and after that it stopped working.. the only thing that he said he did to the alarm was take out the leds.. and i heard that even if there out that shouldnt effect the function of the actuall alarm. so i figure it may have just been a lose wire.  this truck has had alot of other wiring so there is a bunch of "extra" wires around so its hard to figure it out for sure.

I have checked the real easy stuff like fuses.. and thats not the issue..

but i havent really touched the wiring.. i looked at it and theres no harnesses disconnected or anything..

I would check the power leads, and the ground leads for sure. if you have power and ground hooked up correctly, the alarm brain will at least click when you push buttons on it( just like it would when doors are unlocked or trunk release is activated.) after that, check ignition lead, parking light output and so on. but power and ground are the two critical items that must be there, esp the ground wire.
