You keep mentioning hitting bumps in the road and the sound cuts out then too? That would point to a loose connection somewhere.

nice setup,wat u can do is try to remove the amps from its original position and mount them
agains the back seat check if all wirinng is correct example positive by positive,neg by neg
nb:check if it works if not we have to go to plan B
