The V is a IV with lousy software* and install support which fails to mention what the GREEN/ black does! Also doesn't explain park brake or rev standoff! It's the same casing but made in China!

* If you use Wiz it won't prog tach; if you do it manually beforehand it wipes it and you have to do it again, sometimes it will also put the alarm into passive arm and lock and change the auxilliary output settings! In fact sometimes you can't even enter crank run parameters. Running a laptop with XP and wiz 2.2 can be a nightmare, I've taken an old Dell and reconfigured it to run Win98 and it seems to cure some of the problems. I was unofficialy told on Friday by DEI UK that they will be using Bitwriter** only in future.

You can buy Man I in UK which converts other units to manual ready mode.

** The instructions are even wrong on this, I got an apology from the UK CEO!

Clifford Canada do a unit which allows use of a standard remote start unit onto a manual trans. car. Not sure of the part number but it is in this forum somewhere.
UK Intellistart 4 units can be fitted onto Manual/Auto tranny cars.
