i have a 2004 freestar, i would like to replace my factory 6cd/radio with the new factory navigation system.

i found a few on ebay, those are out of new explorer, f150, mustang, edge.

would those be compatible with my van (plug and play) or do i need a special wiring harnes?

would those navigations systems have to be reprogrammed in any way?

any suggestions or help is greatly appriciated

thanks

it should plug and play for basic operation as long as the radio is from an 04' at least, but make sure it comes with a gps antenna.<must have> also the only other foreseeable problem is that ford in the past uses a vss wire with their factory systems just get a picture of the back of the one your buying and see if theres an extra harness taped behind your dash that might match it
the best part of a job is seeing the bumper get smaller over the horizon
