Im installing 3 screens in a 79' monte carlo.  My problem.  Im getting 12v switched but when I connect the ground from either of the screens  the 12v switched changes to negative.  What do I need to do to fix it

It seems like your screens could be shorting ground to power. I would try direct 12 volts and ground at batt to see if they activate

so just run a differant ign power from the fuse box and do not use the other one or you can trace it and find the short.
