Installed a remote start/alarm combo.  Used a DEI 457GW to interface data bus door lock system.

Problem:  it seems that the vehicle now does not respond to it's keys and will not start.  Factory theft light comes on when ign is on but begins to flash after a few moments.

This is a 2004 Suburban.

Any thoughts would be helpful.

How does one reprogram keys, other than taking it to the dealership?

Did you wire up the smaller 3 pin plug? It shouldn't be used, it's for PS3 only and will make the truck not start...

No, I did not use the 3 pin plug, used only the main harness: 12v, gnd, date, door trigger.  I then programed the 457gw per instructions.

Faulty ground.  Ground to the pass lock II interface was poor.  After unhooking the Pass lock II interface, allowing the car to sit for about 10 minutes then it started.  Reconnected, double checked all connections, system works fine.
