I installed this deck in my 02 Tahoe today, but when I put a CD or DVD in, the sound doesnt work. When I was done installing, I only had one wire left, a violet with a white stripe. I found the installation manual, and it said that wire was for backup camera use, so I just taped it off. I also saw that the orange wire coming from the back of the radio was for the Navigation mute, although I already coupled it with the orange wire coming from the Harness adapter. Could this be why Im getting no sound when I put a CD in? It got late, so i hadnt messed with it, but hopefully someone can let me know. Thanx

if the radio plays but the cd does not, then you could have a power antenna wire from the radio powering up the factory amp. I forgot what the panasonic had for power antenna/remote turn on.
