Hey guys i hope that you can help, i am looking for a double din kit for a 99 acura tl so i can install a avic D3 in 1 of my managers cars. we cary the single din at work but i would like to try to find a pre fabed kit rather than fab 1. can anybody help. thanks in advance.

As crappy as they are, I'm pretty sure Metra makes a kit for it. Unfortunately, I have no idea how to tell you which one it would be, since I lost my dealer account a while back.

Jeeeeeez, Mr. ImpatientMECPfirstclassinstaller!  A quick walk over to my handy Scosche book tells me that the kit for the car is the AA1574B.  This is a single din kit, BUT, looking at it, it doesn't look like it'd take more than ten minutes to slice off the pocket and make it work with a double din radio.  Now, I've opened the Metra book and see that their kit is the 99-7868, which has an ISO DIN mounting bracket set.  This kit looks equally as easy as the Scosche kit to enlarge, but may work a bit better for actually mounting the radio, because of the ISO DIN provision.  Good luck!
