I am looking for another 12" subwoofer that has really good quality & sound.

I've had Kicker & JL Audio.  Kicker is very loud but the sound is not good, and the JL Audio has good sound but  it busts with my Epicenter.

Any suggestions?

Yes, drop the epicenter.  My experience with a similar product (made by KLW Audio) is that it just added distortion.

As has been said many times there is really no such thing as "the best" as many different products work really well in their intended applications, and what sounds best to me might not to you.  That being said, the "best" SQ I've ever achieved was with a woofer made by Aurasound, the NS12-794, driven by Genesis amplification.  Second best was with an Adire Tumult, unfortunately no longer available.

If you can wait a little while, Exodus Audio is going to be releasing a new sub called the ShivaX that should work great for you.  It uses the same technology that was used in the Tumult Dyohn mentions above.  Here's the press release: http://www.audiojunkies.com/blog/548

Awesome, thanks for your suggestions.  So, how about Boston Acustic, Image Dynamics, JL Audio V3??   The other brands you guys gave, I'm sure, are good, but they are a bit pricey for me.best 12 subwoofer for sound quality? - Last Post -- posted image.  Looking for something a little more affordable!

$185 shipped is too pricey?  Keep in mind this is beyond IDMAX performance and comparable to the W7 for that price.

You're right.  I had only checked the price for the Aurasound, not the Exodus!  I have a Kicker 1200.1; would that be good, or would I have to get another amp that is of better quality?
