I got a 10.4" tft lcd power acoustik monitor for free because it dosent have the plug to it.  So I need to hardwire it.  when I stripped the wire I have

bare wire

red  (my guess acc)

yellow (my guess 12+)

black (my guess )ground

brown (my guess a/v)

blue

white.

I only need ground,a/v1 in, and acc power.  my guess are from a monitor I hard wired b4

Are any of the wires shielded?

Chances are the black is ground and red is power.  Most of these monitors have only switched power.  The other 4 wires are audio and video inputs.  You will have to figure out what is what after you get it turned on.

ok after actually cutting the plug off, the bare wire is wrapped around a white wire, so thats my video signal. the brown, yellow, green, red ,black, white  and blue are single wire. one has to be power (red??) ground(black??) ones the dome light
