polk sr6500?

Never been much of a Polk Fan, however these caught my eye. Doing some research, these comps are either praised or ok at best. One reviewer put them in the same class as the standard JBL others with the Dyn's and Elates. Any opions are welcomed.

they sound great...until you compare them to things in thier approx RETAIL price range (Polk $750). i always compared them to the JL ZR series($800) and Focal KF series (550). In the boards we had i just could not get them to keep up with the others. It wasnt as clear as the JL and it couldnt keep up with the Focal tweeter. im thinking that the power was the issue (JL300/4 75x4) because i have read what others who purchased them and ran them with approx 150rms, and they always said th polks will sing when the power was poured on them. but i am still waiting to hear that one...2007 Acura TSX

One review said exactly that: low level is not their forte. Mid level they start to perform. Put some gas to them and they will sing.
