wiring two batteries

im running two battereis in my truck, one in the back of it. do i need fuses and if so how many, where should i put them. i running the tow battereies in parrel wit 0 guage wire

it would depend if you run a battery isolator or not...if you do you want to fuse before and after the isolator, usually around 6 inches near each battery. and depending on the size of the alt. you should choose your fuse accordingly. I would use no smaller then 200amp fuse.
