Ok, I want to hook-up 2 front speakers and 2 rear speakers and a sub. I got a deck that has 3 sets of RCA jacks. I know one is for the sub. but with the other 2, it says front and rear on each set. Can I take a 4 channel amp and be able to fade from front to back? or do I need to find 2 seperat amps for the front jacks and the rear jacks. Just trying to learn this stuff. all new to me. Thanks.

A 4 channel amp will have 4 rca inputs and front pair and a rear pair. you will run your front rca's from the head unit to the front inputs on the amp, and the rear rca's from the head unit to the rear input on the amp, it's not really rocket science, it's pretty straight forward when you sit down and look at it.
