well. my system just went retarded on me. the sub started hitting all weird. it makes weird noise when i skip track and sometimes makes this loud popping noise. so i was going to buy a new sub.

current setup is. audiobahn a8000t amp. running at 800w @ 2ohm.

1 Audiobahn 12"  AW1200 sub. dvc 700w @ 2ohm.

the box is huge. it barely fits in the trunk of an integra.

i was wondering about the box size. i read it somewhere that having a too big of a box can cause damage to the sub.

if this is true. i was going to buy another box or try to trade it in at the local audio shops.

Oh i got input from different people that audiobahn is overated and maybe the true rms is around 500rms. So i was looking into kenwood kfc w3011 or infinity reference 1250w.

are there other subs that will work well with this amp?
