06 a4, can, 5900

I'm tring to put a 5900 in and i got the can 1 everytime i power up the can it blinks green then when i turn the ignition on it goes red for 5 second on the sheet it said thats a internal error any i deal how to fix this??? thanks for the help

Get a different CAN module or if it's updateable , flash a new version on the module.

so you saying it a bad can not the install??? i dont belive you can upgrade it but i will find out thanks for the help

If there's a update link from the manufacturer then use it. I use Fortin and most of their modules are now flash link updatedable via internet through their flashlink module.

If I am not mistaken the Can 1 can be updated, but it has to be send back to the Manufacturer. (DEI)

Is up to the installer to test all wires with a DMM whenever possible.

thanks for all the replys i sent it back to dei and they sent me a new one so no issue i thought i hook some up wrong never did a audi but i got it all done and working
