It realy is too bad that you had a bad experience at circuit city (even though it seems to be quite often lately) but there really are some of us here that can and will do a good job. Good luck with finding someone... like they have said above, just make sure you talk with teh installer and almost get to know them.

Yeah I work at Circuit city in plymouth meeting, pa and I take my time on alarm installs.  I hide the brain, tape up all the bundles and run with the factory wiring.  I dont care how long it takes, but my installs look factory under the dash almost 100 percent of the time.

word of mouth, ask you friends where they got theirs done at and take a look under their dash.. if its a mess don't go there. :) 

Solder really is the only way to go, ive taken out so many autostarts or alarms from the states that are all t-taps and butt connectors.  look for a lifetime labor warranty also. esp for that high of a price.
