worth in this industry

The more and more i look and stay in this field the pay decrease, and the availble work decrease. At this piont I have started to look into other industries, and intrests. Some of u may agree some of u may already have sucseeded. So my question is this depending on ur skills and experiance, what r u worth? Salary, hourly, commision, bonuses? As a tec. for 16 years, 10+ porfessionally, I sometimes feel i made a bad choice. The passion for me has gone, I see very little future. So maybe some of u guys would like to post adverage paid to see where the buisness is still good, or that maybe u r payed really good, because ur really good.Its true, its true!

Its almost like the music industry. alot of the info to do anything on your car is on the internet now.  before you had to go to a store to get your music as so you had to go to a shop to get speakers and get them installed. now that everything is done over the web and you can find any instruction or DIY guide, people rather do it them selves than to pay the big dollas for something that might not come out the way they wanted it to.
