not really possible, you have 10 minutes, or and extra 10 if you hold the start button before it shuts down.

I just did a GMC with OEM remote starter and used a data bypass. It says in owners manual 10 min and if you press remote again add 10 min with a 2 time push limit. 20 min max. The only other way would be install after market with adjustable run time and bypass OEM starter. Kinda pointless as to why they would only have them with 10 min and not adjustable. Well it helps us after market installers by providing a fully selectable system for less money then the OEM set up probably costs.
The wire I'm test'n isn't doin' what it's supposed to be doin'... I am so glad I printed that tech sheet, with the wrong info.
Do it right the first time... or I might have to fix it for ya

in my opionon there HAS to be a way to change the run time....
ford has the tricky GEM wake up using lock button pulses, and you guys all know theres a million other cars with programmable feature that they dont tell the "typical" consumer.
theres a trick and somebody knows it. haha unfortunatly not me though

who cares if theres a way, OEM remote starters have 50-200 feet of range, useless for most places. Not to mention the fact that as soon as the check engine light comes on for anything, the OEM start stops working.
We do well with selling real starters once people get a taste of the OEM GM

i have a couple fellow installer friends that are cert GM techs. As of right now, there is no way to extend the run time of OEM GM starters. There are aftermarket range extenders available but you are still stuck to the 20min max. That 's not near long enuf on a diesel unit up here in Canada.
