i rechecked and tested all connections again...maybe im missing something, but has anyone done a jetta 1.8t before that can maybe help me out please. thanx

auto trans, manual? if manual how did you get around the clutch?

manual trans, and i bypassed the clutch using a relay...any ideas?

u used a relay to bypass the clutch but what method. N/C or N/O

Remove the clutch bypass and sit in the vehicle and press the clutch down with your foot. If noise goes away, chances are it's your bypass for the clutch. I know it sounds weird but you need to start removing parts of the starting sequence in order to find out what part is actually the problem. Post your results.
BTW, I have done many manual trans VW's without a problem.

thanx for the reply.....i am pretty sure i've tried that....but i haven't touched the car since.. the past couple of months...kinda waiting for the spring time...but i will check it out again... thanx
