does anyone have a wiring diagram that detail the best way to control a device eg light, water pump etc, from two switches, eg in car and engine bay. ideally i'd also like an indicator light at both switches that would illuminate whenever the device is on.

Just in case anyone else needs to do something similiar, here is a basic example of a the solution. I was planning the use relays in the switching but will now use only one for the power.

for some unknown reason the link as changing the address to

change ANIMATIonS to ANIMATIONS and the address works fine.

in capitals

Just wire up 2 switches to your relay, 1 in engine bay and one in car.
