A diode will do this.  How much current capacity do you need?

It's for LED's in my headliner. I want the LED's to go on with the dome light and also with a switch.

I have no idea how many LEDs you have, but a 1n4004 diode will handle 1 amp of current.  Radio Shack sells this device.
