i have done a lot of the above in the 12v industry.

Commission

commission draw

hourly

salary.

However that shop pays.  Commission draw is my favorite.

If your cousin is such a good installer, and he will install anything for a 6 pack; why are you talking to me?

I do it as a hobby so I get direct cash payment for all starters I do. And I set my price as well which is really nice to make sure I get what I should for it.
I'm much happier doing this stuff as a hobby and not a career. It bring the joy back to it and I can take as long as I want and not have to worry about finishing 8 starters in 8 hours... lol.
