I am sure that this is a very simple question, but havingalready searched, tried and blown my guage fuse, I am looking to the experts. I want to wire a toggle switch on some LED's I am putting in my air vents. i don't know how to wire the toggle switch. I assume i need a spst switch, but correct me if I am wrong. I have two Led's. they each have a positive and negative wire. I have spliced leads off of my HU 12+ constant and off the HU ground. what do I connect ot what? thanks in advance

first of all disconnect them from your head unit.  the easiest place to grab 12v is off of your cig lighter.  then ground anywhere else to bare metal. don't use the HU ground.  wire all of your lights + to + and - to -.  then run your ground to the -, and your 12v to your +. go to autozone and buy you a little 5 dollar rocker switch.  splice the rocker switch into the 12v and you've got you a switch.
what!?!?! you want some??
