My truck didn't come with power windows/locks/mirrors so I upgraded to SPAL and did all  the work myself..I currently have everything working except the mirrors because of no switch..So I went and bought some factory 00 S10 Door Panels with the power windows/locks/mirrors switches built in, including the wiring harness. I got the door locks wired up but I've ran into a problem with the power windows.I've searched the internet till my eyes hurt...So if anybody can help me out I'd be most appreciative.

I have Three SPAL switches (two for drivers side, one for Passenger). From EACH switch there are 5 wires.

1.Motor.2 Motor.3 Power.4 Ground.5 Illumination

Ok on the Factory Drivers Switch (which includes both switches for Drivers and passengers) there are 5 wires.

1.Motor(Drivers).2 Motor(Drivers).3 Motor(Passenger).4 Motor(passenger).5 Ground.

My question is where does the Factory switches get power from?? I went and bought a Haynes Manual for my s10 and it shows to be a Yellow Wire going to the switch.I've also looked at hundreds of Wiring diagrams but received no help either. But I've yet to understand how the power gets to the switch when it has nothing going to it. And the power doesn't go to the motor because of the reverse polarity to move up/down..Any help can/will usefull...thanks,Brian

s10's use the orange acc. wire for power so when the ign. is off you can't move the windows. pink is true ign. 1. so think of your orange as your 12v input.

Well i taked to a GM Tech and he sent me some diagrams of the locks,windows,mirrors,ect..The orange is indeed the acc wire, but GREEN is the power wire. It is ran to the door locks, and provides power to the windows as well.later
