Timer to turn on heater in morning?

Is there anyway that you can make a clock timer that would turn on a DC ceramic heater at a certain time every day? I am tired of getting into my car in the morning and it being freezing until the engine warms up. So is there any way at all or and i just crazy because i think that there would be? Thanks

Buy a block heater for your car. Plug it in, and it keeps the coolant warm, so when you start your car, not only the motor is warm, but the heater will kick out heat instantly

It's a bit spendy but one could alway use a Espar heater w/programable timer (for deisle or gas)

the easiest way would be to install a remote starter like the autopage 850.  you can program it to start at certain times during the day, plus it has a built in thermostat that you can set the temperature. for example,  you can set it for 30 degrees, and everytime, not matter what, when the temperature drops below 30, it will start. an easy solution, and no drain on your battery. if you are determined to have a ceramic heater, and your cigarette lighter socket works on accessory, install a basic remote start, and when it starts, it will also turn on the heater.  

yeah, i say the remote start is the best way. you never have to leave your cozy home to start warming up your car. and not only that, its just fun showing it off to your friends.hey, everyone has got to start somewhere. but ill learn
