XM ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! XM has opie and anthony (additional $1.99 a month and XM has the Playboy Channel additional $2.99 a month) Plus XM has Nascar (which i'm not a big fan of) MLB contracts for 2005 EVERY GAME PLAYED will be on XM live... ESPN RADIO MTV RADIO XM 67 THE CITY!!! XM 81? BEATS PER MINUTE!!! plus the best of the 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, and 90's!!!!!!!!! Can't beat it for $10 a month!!! Plus I think there service is more reliable with almost over 2 million customers and siruis has barely 500,000 you gotta go with XM!!!

it really depends on what your into...ive had both and i'd take sirius over xm. they seem to have a way better selection for hip hop and rock and roll stations. they also are in a 7 yr spin with the NFL to where you wont miss a single game til their contract is up.

Like Foltzy said, it depends on what your into. If sports aren't your thing, go with XM, They have higher rated music stations. But if your big into NFL go with Sirius. I work at Circuit City and sell this stuff all the time and I recognize this pattern alot.

I agree (although Best Buy is better than circuit city!  XM or Sirius? -- posted image.)  j/k, no tension here.  I have XM, and I noticed they have commercials on their non-music channels!!!  Whats up with that?  I heard a Cingular commercial - not to mention the million XM commercials played!  I already have the damn thing, you don't need to keep advertising it.  Anyways, now that I'm done venting, I also heard the music on Sirius tends to get repetative (just like FM music).  I usually tell people to get Sirius if you like sports, XM if you prefer music.  both have online streaming (XM is not included in the $9.99 fee).  Sirius has "celebrity DJ's" whereas XM has regular DJ's.  what else...  oh!  Sirius just released (I don't know how long ago) a Sirius tuner for Pioneer Head Units.  Just like Alpine and Kenwood, now Pioneer can go both ways!  I'm not sure about Sony.  Anyone know?

The older XM Tuners for the older Alpines will work but the new Terk modules do not have an adapter yet released. The reason for this is the ongoing tension between XM and Alpine. Apperently XM is not Co-opperating with Alpine. Sony only does XM but like you said pioneer now goes with either as well. Both Serius and XM have ads on their non-music radio stations. Panasonic no longer does Sirius but is now doing digital radio. Hope this helps someone.
