Hi, Could anyone tell me how to check for continuity to ground using a DMM? I'm trying to find out what type central locking I have in my BMW e30 318is 1990. I've tried searching other topics but it really hasn't helped me at all.

Thanks.

Sure, just put the meter on the lowest resistance setting, touch one probe to ground, and the other to your suspect wire.  Now, hit your lock/unlock buttons and take note of your readings.
My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.
