95 nissan maxima remote start

just installed a remote start into my 95 nissan maxima but it's have trouble starting engine.. if i start it by key it starts right up, if i use the remote start the engine sound like it's almost going start but it doesnt or sometimes it will but never when cold.. there is a blinking security lite from the factory could it be the factory security system causing this problem
how do i fix this problem.. do i need a bypass module

Try this.....put the key in the ignition to the start position...and try remote starting it....post what happens here.

what kind of remote start system is it?? is it tachless??? or is it a timed start??? if it is timed and the engine is barely starting then the crank isn't timed long enough...

'95 Maximas do not require a bypass module, so that's not a worry. Did you hook up the second starter wire? I've never been given a completely satisfactory explanation for the second starter wire on Nissans, but I understand it has something to do with cold starting, which may be your problem.
